Joyce died after developing complications related to a kidney transplant she had undergone last year, a journey that had given the family renewed hope before taking a tragic turn.
For several years, Joyce courageously battled kidney-related health challenges. In 2025, she received a kidney transplant that initially appeared successful, with doctors and family members optimistic about her recovery.
