Central Organisation of Trade Unions secretary general Francis Atwoli has continued to maintain that he is the most influential person in the Western Kenya region, this is evident in his recent remarks in which he has said that no serious person who wants to be the Western Kingpin can do it without his input.
Francis Atwoli added that if any person wants to be president, he should seek his support first to mount a serious campaign. He added that through his influence, he can help a presidential candidate raise Ksh. 1 billion within a minute.
The vocal workers boss revealed that he is set to hold a major event on 26th December 2026 at Bukhungu stadium and it will be dubbed “Bukhungu III.” “Anyone wanting to hold a meeting in the Western region has between now and December 2026 after which I will lock the region,” Atwoli added as he rev sled that the current William Ruto-led government has changed the region because of the huge amount of money he has bumped into it for development.
