Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has been on a special mission with the African Union in ensuring that peace is maintained well across the continent of Africa.
Uhuru Kenyatta successfully managed to hold talks with the leaders of Ethiopia and Tigray to end the civil war that was a great concern for the country and the people.
According to Kenyans.co.ke news podcast, former President Uhuru Kenyatta has landed in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on his peace facilitation mission in the war torn Central Africa country.
Accompanied by other leaders, Uhuru Kenyatta was received by the local leaders of Goma as well as the military personnel who are set to accompany him during his tour in the area.
This comes some days after the Kenyan Defence Forces troops made up of 900 soldiers landed in DRC for the peace keeping mission.
