Former Maria actress Vanessa Hausa alias Wanjiku Stephens has opened up about her life and disclosed to the whole world that she has joined politics.
The talented actress-cum-activist, who has the real moniker of Janet Kiama, has further revealed that she intends to contest for a top seat in the 2027 General Elections.
Wanjiku Stephens actually wants to be the next Nairobi Woman Representative, and she disclosed this via a post that she made on her Instagram account on Friday, the 20th of October.
The former Maria actress shared a photo of a poster, that clearly laid out the manifesto that she had for the women of Nairobi County.
What was clear is that Wanjiku Stephens wanted to make sure that women are seen and heard in the community. She also had the vision of empowering them.
Even though Wanjiku Stephens clearly had the goal of being the next Nairobi Woman Representative, she has not yet decided on the party that she will use as a vehicle.
This was clear in the caption that the actress added to the poster, where she asked her instagram followers to suggest the party that she should use in the General Elections
“Nisimame na chama gani guys?” She said.
The aforementioned question by Wanjiku Stephens however elicited mixed reactions from netizens, who advised her to use different parties.
