After several years in the United States, former Citizen Television news reporter Kendagor Obadiah has officially tied the knot, marking a joyous milestone in his life with a vibrant wedding celebration.
The event was well-documented, with photos showcasing the special occasion being shared by Philip Etale, the Director of Communications for the ODM party. Etale, a long-time acquaintance of Obadiah, took to his Facebook page to extend heartfelt congratulations to the newlywed couple, wishing them happiness and success in their marriage.
Among the guests at the wedding was Milton Nyakundi, a former top journalist from Kenya who also relocated to the United States, adding a familiar face to the celebration.
The photos shared by Etale quickly garnered attention, with many Kenyans taking to the comments section to express their well-wishes for Obadiah.
A notable comment came from a netizen named Cherono Mutai, who praised Obadiah’s humility and wished him all the best in his new journey. “Congratulations Obadiah Kendagor, you indeed deserve the best.
Your humility is admirable, and I wish you the very best, bro,” she wrote.
Another comment from Naomy Wamwanda reflected on Obadiah’s absence from the public eye, expressing curiosity about his whereabouts after his time at Citizen TV. “Congratulations Obadiah.
I had been wondering where he went to after missing from the Citizen screen for quite a long time,” she remarked.
Obadiah himself also chimed in, responding to Etale’s post with gratitude for the kind words and wishing his well-wishers the best.
Before relocating to the U.S., Obadiah was a popular figure on Citizen TV, beloved for his professionalism and presence on the screen.
However, he transitioned to politics in 2017, when he contested the Kapenguria Constituency parliamentary seat in West Pokot County but was defeated by Hon. Samuel Moroto.
Despite the political setback, his personal achievements, including his recent wedding, have continued to garner public admiration.
