Former K24 TV sports news anchor Kelvin Kimathi has announced that he has officially left the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) after working there for 3 years.
The talented journalist made the announcement in a post that he made on his Instagram account on Tuesday, the 19th of May, where he further broke the big news of where he is now working.
According to Kelvin Kimathi, he has now joined Al Jazeera Media Network, where he is working as a producer.
The talented media personality further revealed that he relocated from Kenya to Doha in Qatar, and he has been living there for a month now.
Kelvin Kimathi also could not keep calm after landing the new role.
“After three rewarding years at the BBC, I am delighted to share that I have joined Al Jazeera Media Network as a Producer.
Now one month into life in Doha, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to begin this new chapter at such a pivotal moment in global news.

The disclosure by Kelvin Kimathi however elicited massive reactions from netizens, who congratulated him for landing the new job as shown in the screenshots below.
Kelvin Kimathi’s media journey
It should be noted that before Kelvin Kimathi joined Al Jazeera, he had worked at several Kenyan media houses for a while.
The hunk began his media career at K24 TV, before later joining Weru TV and then KTN News.
Kelvin Kimathi however later called it quits with KTN, and joined the now defunct station Switch TV. He however later called it quits and made a return to K24 TV.
The talented media personality however left K24 TV after working there for a while, and joined the BBC where he was working until he called it quits recently.
