Renowned Kalenjin comedian Eliud Lagat, famously known by his stage name Tapnyolei Rosaline, has appealed for financial support to facilitate his medical treatment. The cross-dressing entertainer, beloved for his humorous skits and vibrant performances, is preparing to undergo a second surgery following an earlier eye operation at Tenwek Hospital.

Lagat confirmed that the next procedure is scheduled for Sunday, July 20, at Kapkagaon Centre in Nandi County. He noted that the treatment, including post-surgery care and related expenses, will cost approximately KSh 1.6 million.

Despite his health struggles, the comedian remains optimistic and committed to his craft. Photos shared online show him in hospital, interacting cheerfully with other patients as he recovers from the first operation.

Since venturing into comedy in 2021 and fully immersing himself in 2022, Lagat has built a strong fanbase, particularly for his unique persona and cultural satire. A fundraiser has been planned to support his treatment and help him resume his comedy journey.

His appeal has drawn widespread attention within the entertainment community, with fellow artists expressing solidarity and urging fans to support one of their own during this critical time.
