The Elgeyo Marakwet County Public Service Board (CPSB) has announced a new recruitment exercise for qualified and self-motivated Kenyan citizens.
The vacancies are spread across several county departments, offering opportunities in health, agriculture, education, engineering, ICT, finance, administration, technical trades, youth development, water and environmental services.
According to the vacancy notice, most of the positions are offered on a three-year contract.

The recruitment covers the following departments:
Roads, Public Works & Transport
The advertised positions include Quantity Survey Assistant III, Assistant Architect, Plant Operator, Assistant Engineer II (Structural), Inspector Building, Motor Vehicle Mechanic III and Plant Mechanic III.
Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives
The county is recruiting Veterinary Officers, Assistant Livestock Production Officers, Livestock Production Assistants, Animal Health Assistants, Agricultural Officers, Assistant Agricultural Officers, Agricultural Assistants and Cooperative Officers.
Education and Technical Training
There are vacancies for Youth Polytechnic Instructor III in Clothing Technology, Building and Construction, Leatherwork Technology, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, Plumbing/Pipe Fitting, Carpentry and Joinery, Agri-Business, Motor Vehicle Technology, Food Processing Technology, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Solar PV System Installation.
The department has also advertised two Graduate ECDE Teacher III positions.

Health Services
Health professionals can apply for positions including Orthopaedic Surgeon, Medical Officer, Public Health Officer, Assistant Public Health Officer III, Nutrition and Dietetics Officer, Nutrition and Dietetics Technologist III, Enrolled Nurse III, Registered Nurse II, Radiographer II and Registered Clinical Officer (Anaesthetist).
The Enrolled Nurse III position has 11 vacancies, while five positions are available for Medical Officers.
Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development
The advertised positions include Inspector (Buildings), Fireman II, Fire Officer II, Inspector (Electrical), Inspector (Fire Services) and Assistant Engineer II (Electrical).
Public Service, Administration, Devolution and ICT
Opportunities are available for Information Officers, including Videographer, Graphics Designer and Photographer, as well as ICT Officers in Software Development and Digital Programming.
Other vacancies include Human Resource Management and Development Officer, Human Resource Assistant III, Records Management Officer III and Support Staff III.
Finance and Economic Planning
The department has vacancies for Accountant I, Supply Chain Management Officer II, Internal Auditor I and Economist II/Statistician II.
Trade, Industrialization and Enterprise Development
The county has advertised two positions for Industrial Development Officer III.
Sports, Tourism and Social Services
The department is recruiting one Chief Officer, Sports, Tourism and Social Services, 20 Youth Development Officers II and one Game Warden III.
The Chief Officer position is tied to the term of office of the Governor, while the other positions are offered on three-year contracts.
Water, Environment & Climate Change
The advertised positions include Environment and Natural Resources Officer, Assistant Engineer II (Water & Sewerage), Artisan III (Plumbing) and Inspector (Water & Sewerage).
The Artisan III (Plumbing) position has 20 vacancies, while four positions are available for Inspector (Water & Sewerage).
Office of the Governor
The Office of the Governor has one vacancy for Legal Officer II. The position is offered on a three-year contract.
