Media personality Dr. Ofweneke, also known as “The Duke of Kakamega,” is once again trending online after reports emerged that he has married a fourth wife, Diana Ingosi, in a colourful traditional wedding ceremony.
Photos and videos from the event quickly spread online, with many fans congratulating the comedian and radio presenter while others reacted with mixed feelings over his relationship history.
The traditional ceremony was filled with dancing, cultural outfits, family celebrations, and close friends who came to witness the special day.
Ofweneke has had a long and public relationship journey over the years. He was first married to gospel singer Nicah The Queen. Their marriage attracted attention online, especially because the two often appeared happy together on social media and during public events.
However, the relationship later collapsed, and the couple officially separated in 2016. Despite the breakup, they share children together and have continued co-parenting.
After the separation, Ofweneke introduced another woman identified as Christine Tenderess in 2019. Their relationship remained very private compared to his previous one.
The comedian rarely shared details about their life together, although reports indicated that they also share a child. Over time, fans began questioning whether the two were still together because Ofweneke never publicly explained the status of their relationship.
The comedian again surprised many Kenyans on July 7, 2024, when he introduced another woman, Maryanne Baraza, as “Mrs. Ofweneke” during his Mr Right show. The move sparked online debate, with many netizens wondering whether he had officially settled down again.
Now, the entertainer appears to have found love once more with Diana Ingosi. Social media users have been sharing different opinions, with some joking that “Luhya men prioritize children in relationships.”
Others even compared him to Mulamwah and Bonny Khalwale, who are also often discussed online over their relationships and family lives.
Beyond relationships, Ofweneke has previously opened up about his painful childhood. The comedian once revealed that his mother abandoned him when he was only one week old.
His father later remarried when he was four years old, but he did not grow up with either his biological father or the stepmother who raised him.
He shared that relatives stepped in to protect, guide, and support him during his difficult upbringing. Many fans now believe those painful experiences may have shaped the kind of man and father he has become today.
