In what appears to be swallowing a humble pie following his yesterday remarks about Counties getting Kshs 10 Billion funding from the National Govt to Mitigate the effects of the Current Elnino, NTV has exclusively shared a video of him (the second in command) saying that no money from the National Govt will be sent to counties.
In the Video, Gachagua is heard and seen urging counties to use their emergency funds instead of waiting for funding from the government. Also, Gachagua tells all governors to deliver to their people and stop talking too much.But the Development comes hours after the second in command was at the receiving end from Governors, Senators, and other leaders for claiming that the Ruto Govt disbursed the Kshs 10 Billion a few weeks ago. He also accused Mombasa Governor Hon Abdulswamad Nasir of being an insincere leader who can hold funds when Kenyans are suffering.
