Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has spoken strongly about people who are working in President William Ruto’s government and know about bad things happening, but choose to stay silent. Amisi says if you are part of the government and aware of any evil or crime, speak now. Don’t wait until you are sacked to start talking.

He says it is not helpful when leaders enjoy power, money, and good life, but only come out to speak when they lose their jobs. “You don’t help this country much by vomiting several months after swallowing gluttonously,” he said. This means it is wrong for leaders to stay silent when things are bad, just because they are comfortable, and only complain after they’re pushed out.

Amisi named three leaders who are examples of this shameful behavior—Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Attorney General Justin Muturi, and now MP Ndindi Nyoro. He says these men were quiet when they had power, but now that they are out or sidelined, they want to speak like they were clean. This, according to Amisi, is not the kind of leadership Kenya needs.

He says the public will no longer accept stories and secrets that come only after someone has lost their seat. If a leader really cares about Kenya, they should resign from government and speak out on principle. That shows courage and love for the country.

Amisi adds that true heroes are those who do the right thing even when it is hard. He is calling on all leaders who know of wrongdoing in the government to speak now or stay silent forever—even after they are removed from office.

According to him, Kenya is in a deep crisis and cannot afford leaders who are only brave when they have lost everything. The country needs people who are ready to stand up for truth and justice while still in power.

“We need a new beginning, a time of truth and real leadership,” Amisi said. “Kenya needs a Renaissance.”

This is the message from Caleb Amisi: if you know something is wrong in government, speak up now. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Resign with dignity, tell the truth, and be remembered as a hero.
