The Indian police have now given more information about how the former Prime Minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga, died. According to the police, Raila was taking a morning walk when the sad incident happened. He was walking together with his sister, his child, and his personal doctor.

The walk took place near the hospital in Koothattukulam, Kerala, India, where he had gone for medical treatment. This was the same Ayurvedic eye hospital where his daughter was treated in the year two thousand and seventeen after she lost her sight.

The police said that while they were walking, Raila started to feel breathing difficulties. He found it hard to breathe and began to collapse. This happened at around seven forty-five in the morning, Indian time. The people who were with him quickly became worried. They did not waste any time. They rushed him to a nearby private hospital so that he could get help from doctors.

When he arrived at the hospital, the doctors saw that his condition was very serious. They said he was already unresponsive, which means he was not moving or reacting. The doctors tried everything they could to help him. They used machines and medicine to try and make him stable, but unfortunately, his condition continued to get worse.

After a short time, the doctors confirmed that Raila Odinga had passed away. They said he had died from cardiac arrest, which is when the heart suddenly stops working. It is a very dangerous condition, and if help does not come fast enough, the person can die within minutes.

Right now, Raila’s body is being kept safely at the hospital as Kenyan and Indian government officials plan how to take him back home. His death has caused deep sadness in Kenya and in many other countries.

Raila Odinga was a very famous and respected leader who fought for democracy for many years.Many people, including top leaders, are now sending their sympathy messages to his family and the people of Kenya.
