There are now more details that connect Albert Ojwang’s unexplained death at the central police station to the ministry of interior.
This is taking place in response to a disturbing disclosure made by the Central Police officer in charge of station OCS, Talaam.Reliable sources from the OCS state that Ojwang’s death was reported to the ministry of interior within minutes of it occurring.
According to the OCS, he called officials at the ministry of interior to provide further details regarding the death, but they disregarded him.
According to Talaam, they did not attend the meeting for more explanation after Ojwang died in the cell.This has revealed the ministry’s carelessness in relation to this grave issue.
This is just hours after DIG Lagat decided to resign from his position amid the continuing IPOA-led investigations.
Noteworthy is the fact that at least six people have been arrested in relation to this case, and OCS Talam is expected to be detained for further days.
