There were dramatic scenes as angry mourners stopped the burial of two brothers in Mwea who were killed last week in Mbeere South. The mourners forcefully carried the caskets away.

One of the angry mourners who spoke to the media said that the two men left behind young families and it was unfair to burry and forget them like nothing happened.

He pleaded with the county government of Kirinyaga led by governor Anne Waiguru to help the families get justice. Most of the protestors were drivers who used to work with one of the brothers.

They firmly stated that unless justice is served, there will be no burial and that they are ready to cater for the additional morgue expenses until proper investigations are done and the perpetrators of the cold blooded murders brought to book.

The family did not address the issue but will now have to postpone the burial and wait for further investigations.

May justice be served for the two brothers.
