Karangu Muraya has been silent on social media since a viral audio clip leaked, exposing a previous altercation with his first wife, Triza Njeri.
Carol Kim’s ex-husband recently surfaced online with a funny tweet that many perceived as an aimed swipe at Karangu.
His comment prompted conflicting reactions, with netizens arguing if he was really disparaging Karangu.
Everything fell apart online after the gospel singer’s first wife, Triza Njeri, came to social media and accused him of abandoning her after his second marriage.
However, attention has switched to Karangu’s other spouse, Carol Kim. Carol has previously married Joseph Nganga Ndegwa.
Carol’s former friend, social media blogger Wanja Nyarari, said the couple married in a white ceremony in 2018.
Wanja had previously published images of Carol and Nganga standing off a car with her behind the wheel as the chauffeur.
However, the marriage lasted only a brief time. Carol reportedly filed for divorce in 2021 and was legally separated from Nganga in 2022.
In the most recent development, Nganga returned on social media with a direct jab at Karangu. He wrote an apparently benign remark on Facebook, saying, “Early risers hello.”
However, Wanja promptly responded to the comments with a controversial question: “Nganga wetu, are you the one who Habakkuk (Karangu’s moniker) left that slogan to?”
Nganga answered amusingly, stating that he hadn’t seen such a post in a long and chose to greet his fans.
The remark was clearly directed at Karangu, who was known for sending a similar morning greeting before stepping away from social media following a leaked audio recording of him arguing with Triza.
