one of Rigathi Gachagua’s top allies has been handed some good news. This came in after reports emerged on a decision that the court has made concerning his case.
As reported by K24 TV, court has allowed the former governor of Kiambu county Hon Ferdinand Waitutu to amend his appeal on the denial of a bail. According to the judge who made this ruling, Waitutu ought to be allowed to amend his appeal just like any other Kenyan.
“Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been granted permission to amend his appeal challenging the denial of bail.” Reads part of the report shared by the K24 TV today in the afternoon.
Waitutu was arrested and later on taken to prison after he lost his case in the court. He’s accused of receiving kickbacks from contractors during his short reign as the governor of Kiambu county. He is among the close allies to Rigathi Gachagua.
