Kameme FM presenter Baby Top has sparked reactions online after sharing details of her recent meeting with Classic 105 presenter Maina Kageni.
Baby Top said she met Kageni and that the veteran radio host told her he is single and looking for a partner.
She shared a photo of the two on Facebook on Wednesday, September 2, accompanied by a message suggesting that Kageni was searching for love.
The revelation attracted the attention of social media users, with some jokingly suggesting that Baby Top could be a possible match for the popular presenter.
Kageni is known for keeping his private life away from the public. He has, however, built a strong following through his long-running morning show on Classic 105, where he regularly discusses relationships and family matters with listeners.
Baby Top is also a familiar voice in Kenyan radio. She presents on Kameme FM, which mainly serves Kikuyu-speaking audiences.
Following her post, some social media users encouraged the two presenters to consider a relationship, while others joked that Kageni was already “married” to his listeners, whom he often refers to as his darlings.
The comments ranged from matchmaking suggestions to light-hearted jokes about what a marriage between the two radio personalities would mean for their fans.
Baby Top’s post comes amid previous reports about her extended stay abroad and speculation over her future at Kameme FM. She has previously spoken about the pressure and burnout that can come with hosting a popular radio programme.
