The country is in a panic mode following the latest move by Kenya Kwanza administration arresting over 50 Students in Nairobi who wanted to hold press conference ahead of the so much anticipated Monday mass action.

According to various sources, reports now shows that several students have been arrested in Nairobi CBD and taken to police station ahead of Monday demonstrations. The students are said to have been taken into custody outside the Chester House a few moments ago by the Nairobi Central Police Station officers.

The students are said to have been engaging in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance demos that they have described as a meeting outside the busy street in Nairobi.

The students have been taken into custody by the cops for engaging in the meeting that has happened moments ago as per the reports that we have with us.

The students are said to have been caught while engaging in an unauthorised ‘Azimio-linked MDD meeting’ as per the reports that are available from the Nairobi CBD.

However speaking after this incident happened, Embakasi East Constituency member of parliament Babu Owino has issued a Stern warning to president on what he should do to comrades rather than arresting them. Accordingly to vocal ODM Mp, William Ruto should lower the cost of living so that these comrades are capable of putting food on table rather than arresting them.

“Arresting Students leaders won’t help you. Reducing price of Unga and lowering high cost of living will” he said.
