Shared via Facebook on June 4, the photo captured the sad moment Makokha sought Purity Wambui’s casket alongside his longtime friend Ondiek Nyuka Kwota.

In the photo, Makokha, Ondiek Nyuka Kwota, and an unidentified woman pose outside a casket shop.

Behind them, two premium caskets made of veneered fine wood, detailed finishings, and brass fittings can be seen. Ondiek Nyuka Kwota captioned the photo:

“Say a word of encouragement to Matayo Keya, aka Makokha Makacha.”

Details and date of Wambui’s burial are yet to be announced.

Social media users sent their thoughts and prayers to Makokha during this difficult time.
