Baba Talisha, known for his presence on TikTok, has opened up about the emotional turmoil his family is enduring following the tragic loss of his friend, the late TikToker Brian Chira.
Chira, a TikTok sensation, died in a hit-and-run accident that involved a speeding lorry on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Despite weeks passing after his tragic death, Talisha still innocently inquires about his whereabouts.
At the time, the fallen TikToker who was drunk was fleeing from a boda boda rider to avoid paying him when the lorry hit him.
According to Baba Talisha, she even inquired from the hospital where Chira frequented if he was there.
Recalling the unfortunate incident, a witness, Zeleck Momanyi, revealed that the impact threw Chira metres ahead before the lorry ran over his body again.
He recounted the heart-rending moment when his daughter visited the hospital where Chira often frequented, fervently seeking his presence.
Late TikToker Brian Chira was laid to rest.The departed content creator was buried at his family home in Gathanje, Ingitei village, Githunguri in Kiambu County.
“Talisha has not fully processed that Chira is no more. She went to the hospital to ask where Chira was,” he expressed.
During a TikTok Live session, while sorting through Chira’s belongings, Baba Talisha revealed that they were instructed to vacate the premises as the house had been allocated to a new tenant.
Family and friends paid glowing tributes to the deceased, and friends and fans who failed to attend the funeral honoured Chira in emotional tributes online.
