However, the following morning, she learned that the noise she had heard was from mourners heading to his funeral. The revelation left her shocked, especially after realizing that her friend had was going to be laid to rest without her knowledge.
Akothee said she had been at home wondering why Fred had not reached out to her or visited as he usually did, only to later discover the painful truth. She expressed deep regret for not being informed earlier, noting that she would have wanted to play a role in his final send-off.
The musician also reflected on the nature of their friendship, describing Fred as a simple man who valued friendship more than material support. She recalled moments when he declined offers such as food, choosing instead to maintain a genuine bond with her.
She expressed her love and appreciation for him, even in death, noting that their friendship meant a lot to her.
The news has left her deeply saddened, as she comes to terms with the loss of someone she considered close.
