Media personality Jacqueline Nyaminde, widely recognised by her stage name Wilbroda, has sparked public interest after making a rare appearance with her partner.
The actress was seen with the man during a relaxed outing on Friday, August 7. The pair appeared at ease as they spent time together, with photographs showing them smiling and sharing a warm embrace. Their public appearance offered fans a glimpse into a part of Wilbroda’s personal life that she has generally chosen to keep private.
Wilbroda maintained a simple and casual appearance for the outing. She wore a black T-shirt decorated with an artistic map of Africa, paired with blue jeans. Her partner, meanwhile, wore a patterned shirt underneath a black leather jacket.
The appearance comes shortly after Wilbroda opened up about her perspective on relationships and marriage. During an interview on the Iko Nini podcast, the media personality addressed questions she regularly receives from members of the public about why she has not married.
Wilbroda explained that she is comfortable with her personal choices and does not feel obligated to follow societal expectations surrounding marriage. She made it clear that marriage is not something she considers necessary for her happiness or fulfilment.
She further revealed that if she were to pursue a relationship, she would rather have a partner than necessarily formalise the relationship through marriage. Her remarks highlighted her independent approach to relationships and her decision to live according to her own preferences rather than public expectations.
Wilbroda is also a mother of one and has previously expressed satisfaction with having a single child. She has indicated that she does not intend to have more children, further demonstrating her willingness to make personal decisions based on what she believes is right for her.
Her recent appearance with her partner has consequently attracted considerable attention, particularly because she has maintained a relatively private romantic life over the years.
Wilbroda became widely known after playing the memorable character Wilbroda in the popular Kenyan television series Papa Shirandula. Her portrayal of the outspoken character earned her national recognition and established her as a familiar face in Kenya’s entertainment industry.
She later expanded her career into radio broadcasting, working at Citizen Radio before joining Milele FM, where she continued to strengthen her profile as a prominent media personality.
