Lawyer Wahome Thuku has come out to allege that Chinese companies are planning to come to Kenya and start some businesses.
The first company according to Wahome will start a chicken project in Kajiado county and employ about 500 people.
“A CHINESE company is coming to keep 500,000 chicken in Kajiado County and employ 500 fellows.”
He said that another company is also planning to come and revive the Intercontinental and Hilton Hotels in Nairobi which died a few years ago.
He said that the two hotels will be reopened under a new brand from the one they have had before.
“Another is coming to revive Hilton and Intercontinental hotels which died a natural death, and run them under new brand.”
This revelation by Wahome comes after Ruto’s visit to China which will be over in a few days.
Ruto has signed a number of deals with the Chinese government and one of them is to allow for the investment of Chinese companies in the country.
