Home Bay Women Rep Joyce Osogo lost her temper while addressing journalists outside National Assembly a few moments after Azimio MPs walked out as CS Ndund’u read the 2023/2024 budget.
Joyce said that she was shocked to learn that some of the leaders are complaining that they are under captivity by Kenya Kwanza. She said some of the leaders were forced to vote yes during the Finance Bill 2023 voting at Parliament.
“Am shocked I think this country requires thorough leadership. What is taking place is very wrong…” Osogo said.
Further, she attached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua after his statement that areas where its leaders will reject the Finance Bill will not receive development funds.
I also heard before I even left the country when members of the government were complaining that themselves are under captivity. Some of them even complain that they were taken to State House to make sure it is reading yes. I was shocked when I read on social media that a senior officer said no project will go to areas where the members will reject the Finance Bill…” She said.
