Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has released an evening message about president William Ruto. Ngunyi says William Ruto might leave social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter just like his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta. The political analyst wrote that statement on his Twitter account and was reported by TV 47.
Ngunyi says stories like Mtukufu lies are some of the things that made Uhuru Kenyatta quit social media in July 2018 during his second term. He further stated that dealing with Kenyans on Twitter is very difficult and he compared it to herding cats. He however urged the president to emulate Mwai Kibaki who embraced vagueness.
“Stories like Mtukukufu Lies are what made Uhuru Kenyatta quit social media. Dealing with KoT is like herding cats, hectic and it will only get worse. Your best bet is to embrace vagueness like Kibaki. A clear-headed president is always a target for ridicule,” Mutahi Ngunyi wrote on Twitter.
Ruto had recently embraced the name ‘zakayo the tax collector’ which he was branded by some Kenyans. Kenyans online have also been accusing Ruto of being a liar and some of them even call him Mtukufu Lies. Funnily, section of netizens has been telling Ruto to create ministry of promises in his cabinet since he gives a lot of promises.
