Media personality Betty Kyallo has come a long way since her publicized separation from fellow journalist Dennis Okari.
The former media power couple captured the hearts of many Kenyans when they tied the knot on October 2, 2015, at Marula Manor in Karen, Nairobi. However, the marriage ended just six months later, leaving many fans shocked and disappointed.
Reflecting on the painful experience, Betty shared that going through a public divorce was one of the most devastating moments of her life. Dennis Okari also acknowledged in a 2025 interview that conflicting values and misaligned goals contributed to the quick breakdown of their marriage.
Despite the overwhelming scrutiny, Betty chose to focus on raising her first daughter, Ivanna, while building her business empire in Nairobi. Her resilience gave hope to many young women facing similar struggles.
Fast forward to today, Betty has found peace and joy again. She and her partner, Charlie Jones, recently welcomed a baby girl named Nova Aurora Jones on April 15, 2026, marking a fresh and happy chapter in her life.
