Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya’s office has been drawn into a fresh controversy following reports that one of his close aides was arrested at gunpoint in Kitale town.
The aide, identified as Amos Boaz Masika, popularly known as Hammer Hammer, serves as a communications officer in the governor’s office. According to a report published by TUKO on Thursday, October 22, 2026, Masika was reportedly picked up by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
