As the country prepares for the upcoming 2027 general elections, political alliances are shifting very fast. Leaders are constantly moving across party lines to find the best ground for their future. Sabina Chege has now weighed in on this changing political scene.
Chege accused her fellow politicians of major hypocrisy. She pointed out a clear double standard in how leaders are treated when they visit specific regions.
She noted that when Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna visits the Wamunyoro area, he is given a warm welcome. However, she claimed that Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro is treated very differently and is branded a spy when he makes similar political moves.
To illustrate her point, Chege compared politicians to monkeys living in different forests. She said they may belong to different groups but share the exact same nature.
She expressed frustration that the public and other leaders apply different rules to specific individuals based on their current political party. She called this behavior a very high level of pure dishonesty in our political space today.
