Judith Nyangi has launched a scathing attack on Geoffrey Mosiria, making fresh allegations about his conduct during his tenure as Nairobi’s Public Health Chief Officer.

Nyangi claims Mosiria made late-night visits to Pumwani Hospital and allegedly asked kitchen staff to prepare eggs and meat for him.

According to Nyangi, the former Chief Officer would show up at the hospital at night and order special meals from the hospital kitchen, meant for patients and staff.

She further alleged that his leadership style affected service delivery in Nairobi health facilities.

Nyangi also claims Nairobi hospitals are now operating smoothly, with medicines available and services continuing following his departure.

She said that since Mosiria left office, health services in the county have improved and hospitals are well stocked with essential drugs.

Her remarks have sparked heated reactions online, with some Kenyans supporting her sentiments while others defended Mosiria’s track record in Nairobi County.

Mosiria, who was known for his impromptu visits to city hospitals and markets during his tenure, is yet to respond to the latest allegations.

The county government has not yet issued an official statement regarding Nyangi’s claims.
