Zimbabwean flamboyant businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo has left social media talking after gifting the family of late music legend Oliver Mtukudzi gifts worth over KSh 9.6 million (US$ 74,000).
The massive package included a brand-new 2026 Toyota Fortuner worth KSh 8.8 million (US$ 68,000) alongside cash gifts. Chivayo handed the vehicle and KSh 2.6 million (US$ 20,000) in fuel money to Mtukudzi’s daughter, Selmor. He also gave an additional KSh 2.6 million (US$ 20,000) to her stepmother, Daisy Mtukudzi.
However, the gesture came with a condition. Chivayo requested that Selmor collect the vehicle alongside her estranged stepmother to end years of family tension. The two women were spotted together at Enterprise Car Sales in Harare, sharing a rare moment of relief and peace.
“Thank you for uniting us with mom, something that many people failed to do for years,” an emotional Selmor said during the handover. The generous act has touched fans across East Africa, honoring the late icon’s memory through family reconciliation.
