Popular car salesman Patrick Riang’a, famously known as Patrick Car Dealer, has officially parted ways with Car Soko Ltd after nearly a decade.
Patrick announced his exit, thanking his long-time boss Felix Limo and colleagues for the transformative journey. He is now joining Sialkot Motors, where he has already hit the ground running by selling high-end vehicles like Prados.
Fans and followers were quick to urge Patrick to take his on-screen partner, Goliath wa Bungoma (real name Isaac Otesa), along to the new workplace.
The dynamic duo had built a massive following through entertaining car reviews and sales content, with their “Bangalaa” brand becoming a fan favorite. Many Kenyans expressed disappointment at the separation, hoping the chemistry that propelled Car Soko’s online visibility would continue elsewhere.
In an exclusive interview, Patrick addressed the burning question directly. He revealed that Goliath remains bound by a contract with Car Soko, preventing him from joining immediately.
“Goliath has a binding contract with Kasoko… When that contract ends, he can be free,” Patrick explained, declining to disclose specifics out of respect for the agreement.
Despite the professional split, Patrick spoke glowingly of his protégé. He recounted how he natured Goliath into a person he is today, who arrived in Nairobi facing hardships, transforming him into a confident salesman capable of handling luxury vehicles.
“You will forever be my brother,” Patrick said, crediting their partnership for memorable successes and praising Car Soko’s support in building Goliath’s three-bedroom bungalow in Bungoma.
Patrick explained personal growth as his reason for leaving: “It is time for Patrick to start something of his own.”
He described his time at Car Soko as fulfilling but noted that change is as good as rest. His emotional farewell tells the deep attachments, with fans flooding social media with support.
As Patrick embarks on this new chapter at Sialkot Motors, eyes remain on Goliath’s future once his contract concludes. Their story and bond continues to inspire many in Kenya’s hustling car sales industry.
