In a message to Meru residents on Wednesday, August 26, DJ Spider urged supporters to come out in large numbers when the Linda Mwananchi team arrives.
He expressed his affection for the people of Meru and urged them to prepare for the upcoming event.
Apart from mobilising supporters, DJ Spider has been sharing some of the songs expected to feature during the tour.
The music appears to be helping create the atmosphere ahead of the event while also highlighting political figures associated with Linda Mwananchi.
One of the tracks featured by the DJ is a Kimeru song by Murega Baichu dedicated to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

Another track highlighted by DJ Spider is “Sifuna Anthem” by Majirani Paroies.
Unlike the first song, the anthem mentions several politicians linked to the wider political movement.
Among those referenced are Sifuna, former Siaya governor James Orengo, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, and Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.
The Linda Mwananchi team, led by Sifuna, is expected to arrive in Meru on August 30.
Former Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza has previously welcomed the planned visit and urged residents to ensure that the event takes place peacefully.
