NAIROBI, Kenya — Kenyan businesswoman and social media personality Shiquo wa Hii Style has left followers concerned after a video surfaced online showing a hospital bed, shortly after a highly publicized controversy surrounding her stock.

A video circulating online shows what appears to be a medical facility, sparking widespread speculation among fans regarding her health status. According to social media reports, the clip was shared shortly after lines of communication from her retail business went silent. No official medical reports have been released, and representatives for the entrepreneur have not yet confirmed whether she has been hospitalized or the reasons behind the video.

The developments follow a series of conflicting events concerning her store at RNG Plaza in Nairobi. Official statements from the Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA) indicate that the agency has denied conducting a raid on her premises, calling the viral allegations a “pure lie.” According to authority officials, intelligence suggested that the business was merely relocating from one shop to another rather than facing a law enforcement seizure.

However, prior reports and video clips uploaded to the entrepreneur’s personal TikTok account showed largely empty shelves inside the store. In those recordings, Shiquo indicated that she was facing a total loss, stating, “Every piece of shoe was taken away because they were counterfeit.” Initial unverified estimates circulating among local traders had placed the alleged loss at approximately Sh15 million.

As the enforcement agency maintains its stance denying any formal confiscation, the sudden appearance of the hospital footage has deepened the mystery. Public concern continues to grow as fans await an official statement from the businesswoman or her family to clarify both the status of her health and the true nature of the disruption at her boutique.
