A heartbreaking story involving a Filipino woman and a Kenyan man from the Kalenjin community has gone viral on social media, sparking emotional reactions from many people online.
The woman is said to have opened a TikTok account for the child she allegedly got with the Kenyan man after he reportedly disappeared shortly after the baby was born.
According to information widely shared online, the man identified as Martin Kiptoo is said to have met the Filipino woman while working in Qatar as a CCTV monitoring officer.
Reports indicate that the two fell in love while working abroad and later started a relationship that resulted in the birth of a child.
However, the woman now claims that things changed immediately after she gave birth.
She alleges that the man suddenly disappeared from her life, switched off communication, deactivated his social media accounts and could no longer be reached through his phone number.
Since then, she says she has been raising the child alone without support from the alleged father.
In several posts, she expresses pain and disappointment while asking why the father abandoned both her and the child.
The videos quickly spread across social media platforms, especially among Kenyan TikTok users, with many members of the Kalenjin community reacting emotionally to the situation.
