President William Ruto has in a recent message told Kenyans that he is the person with the ability to transform the nation of Kenya as President.
In his statement, the President did state that being young and having a PhD make him an outstanding leader in the history of the Kenyan leadership.
According to President William Ruto, the fact that he has acquired experience in politics gives him the ability to make the most difficult decisions as a leader.
“I am young, I am the only President in Kenya to have a PhD, and I have experience in politics, which is why I am the person to make the most difficult decisions for our nation and to move it to the next level.” Stated President William Ruto.
Among those that have reacted to the statement by the President is Canadian based Kenyan Lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna. Speaking through his official X page, on Wednesday, the 1st of April. Miguna has stated that Kenya’s leadership doesn’t need academic qualification but leaders with integrity, which the President lacks.
Known as an ardent critic of President William Ruto, Miguna has even questioned the authenticity of President Ruto’s academic qualification insisting that it was probably acquired in a fraudulent manner.
“What Kenyans need and deserve is a president and leaders with the software for governance, integrity and not people with PhDs, especially those acquired dubiously or fraudulently.” Stated Dr. Miguna Miguna while telling off President William Ruto.
Miguna has even accused the President of messing up the country’s economy and even calling for his removal from office. “You have failed, messed up the country and you must go,” he added.
