Content creator Diana Marua has shared a heartwarming video showing a candid conversation with her teenage son, Morgan Bahati, as she guided him through relationship challenges he is currently facing.
In the video posted on her social media pages on Monday, March 16, Diana is seen bonding with Morgan while discussing his love life after learning that the teenager has a girlfriend.
The mother playfully asked him whether the girl had been unfaithful to him, prompting an honest response from the young boy.
“Huyo dame alikuwa anakuplay?” Diana asked, to which Morgan admitted that the girl, whom Diana referred to as Wakarima, had indeed disappointed him.
The teenager appeared confused and struggled to explain how the situation unfolded, saying he did not understand why the girl treated him that way.
“Hadi sielewi, mimi nashangaa,” Morgan said, expressing his surprise as he opened up to his mother about the experience.
In a caption accompanying the video, Diana revealed that Morgan’s girlfriend studies at a neighbouring national school, joking that even teenagers today face the same relationship struggles as adults.
“Hata hawa wadogo wanachezwa. Huyu sahii ako na girlfriend Alliance Girls. I love the open conversations I get to have with my son as he is navigating teenage and choices in general,” she wrote.
Diana explained that she has chosen to maintain open communication with her son by listening without judging him, saying this approach allows him to freely share his experiences instead of struggling alone.
“I’m intentional about listening to him without judging, so he doesn’t have to figure it out by himself in these crazy times that we live in. Some conversations are uncomfortable to have, but they must be heard,” she added.
The influencer has recently been sharing her journey as a mother, often speaking about the special bond she has with Morgan. In a previous post, Diana reflected on how the teenager came into her life at a time when she felt unprepared for motherhood but later became one of her greatest blessings.
“I know I will never lack because he is the reason… My Morgan, thank you for allowing me to be called your mother even when I didn’t know how to carry that title,” she wrote.
