Friday, the 13th of March, was indeed a special day for former K24 TV news anchor Maya Hakawa.
This is because on the day, her son Amari Hakawa officially turned 20-years-old; a milestone that confirmed that he had indeed opened a new chapter with regards to his life.
Like any other loving mother out there who is usually proud of the milestones of her kid(s), Maya Hakawa was also proud of Amari Hakawa’s birthday and therefore she celebrated it in style.
The sassy media personality actually took to her instagram stories and penned for her son a heartwarming message, in which she pampered him with love and praises.
Maya Hakawa also wished Amari Hakawa the very best with regards with regards to his birthday as well as his future.
“HAPPY 20th birthday to my incredible son! 😊 I can’t believe you’re officially a young man now. I’m beyond proud of you – you’re my greatest joy, my greatest accomplishment, and my greatest blessing. Maya Hakawa welcomes Amari
As mentioned above, Amari Hakawa is actually the first-born child of Maya Hakawa.
The sassy media personality however welcomed him to the world in 2006, when she was just 16-years-old.
Even though Maya Hakawa got pregnant when she was just 15-years-old, it should be noted that she has never regretted giving birth at a young age.
“I got pregnant at 15, and gave birth just 2 weeks after my 16th birthday, and it changed the course of my entire life. I love that I gained my best friend. There my be challenges in motherhood, but no regrets…” Maya Hakawa said previously.
