A previously shared video of Terry Mwaniki, the personal assistant to businesswoman Catherine Wambugu, has resurfaced online, stirring emotional reactions after her untimely death in a fatal road accident.

In the clip, Terry is seen speaking thoughtfully about life, faith, and death, words that have since taken on a poignant new meaning.

Terry lost her life in a tragic crash in Ngareng’iru, which also claimed the life of the family’s driver, Dominic, popularly known as Dommie.

Catherine Wambugu survived the accident. Images from the crash scene later circulated on social media, drawing widespread sympathy.

Family friend Dickson Ndirangu said during an interview that the trio shared a close bond beyond their professional relationship.

He recalled hosting Terry, Catherine, and Dominic at his great-grandmother’s home before the accident, describing them as warm and genuine people.

Ndirangu also acknowledged the efforts of Kiawara residents who rushed to help following the crash.

He thanked individuals who returned phones and other valuables found at the scene, while appealing for the return of Terry’s missing phone to Wambugu’s Apple offices.

In the video recorded before her passing, Terry spoke about fear of the unknown, reflecting on illness and loss.

She mentioned musician Betty Bayo and her children while sharing prayers for parents to be granted long life so they can raise and protect their families.

As a mother, she said, the bond with one’s children is unmatched.

Terry went on to recount her father’s battle with cancer, explaining how he had lived a disciplined life and rarely fell ill.

She revealed that the family only realised he was sick when his condition worsened, progressing rapidly from early stages to stage four cancer.

She described cancer as emotionally devastating, noting that the loss of a parent leaves a lasting wound.

Terry encouraged those living with fear to lean on faith, saying true peace comes from trusting God, who watches over people daily.
