Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia has broken her silence on ongoing online bullying, revealing the emotional strain she has faced while raising her children alone.

In an Instagram video posted on Monday, December 15, 2025, she spoke out against the criticism aimed at her, emphasizing how exhausting it has been to navigate life under public scrutiny.

Matubia described the past week as particularly difficult, sharing that she has been dealing with silent battles while trying to provide for her children.

“I hate bullies. The last week has been overwhelming, and I’m tired. I’m just a single mother trying to live my life and raise my kids, yet I’m constantly judged,” she said.

She highlighted the challenges posed by social media attacks, noting that some people had even paid to shadow-ban her on TikTok.

Others mocked her for ordinary matters, such as selling Christmas trees, turning everyday life into a source of ridicule.

Jackie questioned why fellow women would target single mothers, asking, “Where is this hostility coming from? Enough is enough!”

The actress also exposed direct messages from an anonymous account attempting to shame her and dictate how she should parent.

Responding, she wrote, “Another angry woman giving parenting advice I didn’t ask for. I’m busy raising my kids and working hard; your commentary is not welcome.”

Jackie reflected on her journey as a single parent, acknowledging the difficulties of taking on both parental roles after her relationships with her children’s fathers ended.

Despite moments of doubt and exhaustion, she remains committed to ensuring her daughters are well cared for, loved, and supported.
