Celebrated media personality Alex Mwakideu has revealed that his trial is slated to begin today at the Milimani Law Court.
The talented Radio 47 presenter was actually taken to court by his former brother-in-law Robert Burale over defamation allegations, because of a controversial interview that he did on his YouTube channel AM TV.
The aforementioned interview, was actually the one where Alex Mwakideu hosted his sister Rozinah Mwakideu, and she revealed some shocking information about her failed marriage to Robert Burale.
The 50-year-old revealed that the preacher was emotionally unavailable to her when they were husband and wife among other things, which ultimately led to their marriage not lasting long.
Robert Burale however reacted by suing Alex Mwakideu and his sister Rozinah Mwakideu for damaging his name and his brand through the interview.
The city preacher claimed that what was said by his ex-wife were just utter falsehoods and he is actually seeking Kshs 20 million in damages.
With just few hours remaining before the trial officially begins, Alex Mwakideu has prayed for himself, as well as Rozinah Mwakideu and Robert Burale.
Speaking at Radio 47 while hosting his morning show today, Alex Mwakideu further wished every party that is involved in the case the very best.
He also wished that the case will end well and fast, with no party being hurt by the outcome of the ruling.
