A Kenyan lady amused many after sharing screenshots of her conversation with a bold Luhya man who got her number and immediately began texting her.
The man introduced himself as Wanyonyi but said he preferred the nickname “Wanyoo.” Although he admitted he did not know the woman, he explained that the chats were his way of getting closer to her.
In the leaked messages, Wanyoo remained confident even after the lady reminded him they were strangers. He repeatedly offered to buy her lunch, give her “something small,” and meet her in town to spoil her.
“I want us to know each other. I will buy you lunch and give you something small. Call me Wanyoo, or your Wanyoo. We can meet in town and I will spoil you,” he wrote.
To prove he was serious, he even shared his photos. The lady, however, insisted she could not meet him since they had never met before.
The screenshots quickly went viral, leaving Kenyans amused. Many praised Wanyoo’s determination and confidence, while others joked about his persistence despite rejection.
