Site Bishop

As reported by one of the media houses on Friday, a well-known bishop, Buleu of HM Israel Church in Nyamira County, lost his life in a tragic incident.

The respected church leader died on the spot after a wall collapsed on him while he was engaged in construction work.

According to the report, Bishop Buleu was working as a mason alongside his two children. They were busy building a new church structure when the unfortunate event occurred. It is said that while they were raising the wall, the structure suddenly gave way, burying the bishop under the heavy debris.

“It was heartbreaking because he had a passion for building the house of God, but he died right there on the site,” said one of the church members who witnessed the sad scene.

Fortunately, his two children were not hurt during the collapse. They survived without any injuries, although they were left traumatized after seeing their father trapped under the rubble.

Police officers quickly arrived at the area to confirm the incident and later helped to move the body.

“We can confirm that the bishop died instantly when the wall fell on him. His children are safe,” a police officer reported.

However, officers took the chance to remind local masons and builders to always be careful when constructing.

They warned that construction sites can be very risky and safety should always be put first to avoid such heartbreaking losses.

“We advise workers to take precautions, use proper support, and ensure safety before engaging in construction,” said one of the officers.

The sudden death of Bishop Buleu has left the church and community mourning, with many describing him as a humble and hardworking servant of God who loved both his family and his church.
