Students from Asumbi Girls High School are earning praise across social media platforms after a video of some of them confidently strutting down a school runway during a talent show went viral.
The clip, which has racked up thousands of views, shows the students rocking a stylish, figure-hugging dress as they walks with poise and precision on a makeshift runway to the cheers of an enthusiastic crowd of fellow students.
Their graceful poses and commanding stage presence have drawn admiration from netizens, many of whom have hailed them as a “models in the making.”
Social media users have flooded the comments with praise, for their confidence and flair “beyond their years” and urging modeling agencies to take note.
“They walk like they were born for this,” one user wrote. Another added, “With the right support, they could be walking international fashion shows in no time.”
The school talent show, meant to showcase students’ creativity and skills, has unexpectedly thrust the unnamed students into the national spotlight, with some even suggesting that they should represent Kenya on global fashion platforms.
