This is because of the day is when she unfortunately lost her 5-year-old daughter Amanda, in a tragic incident that happened at the apartment where they were staying at in Nairobi.

The young one sadly died after being thrown over from the 5th floor of Jacaranda residence by her uncle, and unfortunately she did not survive due to the injuries that she got after hitting the floor.
It is said that the uncle had been at the apartment with baby Amanda and the house girl who was taking care of her as her mom Ann Syovinya was away.
Since he was intoxicated, he created a commotion in the house and managed to snatch baby Amanda from the house girl after overpowering her.
Tragically, the uncle threw his niece over despite the efforts that the house girl made to scream for help.
It is said that baby Amanda was rushed to the KU Referral Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately she succumbed to her injuries.
As we speak, the uncle is currently in police custody because he was arrested by the men in blue from the Kahawa West Police Station.
The sad news of Amanda’s death was disclosed by renowned businesswoman Dama Wa Spares, who also happens to be a close friend of Ann Syovinya.
