This is because on the day, he officially turned a year older; a milestone that confirmed that he had indeed opened a new chapter with regards to his life.
News of Nderitu Muriithi celebrating his birthday was actually disclosed by his long-term wife Maria Mbeneka, who is a lawyer.
The sassy queen actually took to her instagram account and celebrated the birthday of the former Laikipia Governor in style!
Maria Mbeneka shared a photo of herself posing with the love of her life Nderitu Muriithi, and then she accompanied it with heartwarming captions in which she pampered him with love and praises.

As Nderitu Muriithi turns a year older, it should be noted that he has been married to Maria Mbeneka for a while now.
