Music industry has witnessed tremendous changes and growth in that sector as well as see the rise of some very talented and passionate musicians who will stop at nothing to ensure that they release quality music to Kenyans and to the whole world at large.Today therefore we want to show you some of the musicians who used to do well back in the early 2000s and what they are doing these days.

WYRE.

Wyre may have a baby face when you meet him in the streets but let’s not forget that he was real masterclass of music back in the early 2000s as most of his hip-hop songs were being played in almost everywhere.But just nothing lasts forever he had of recently witnessed a nosedive in his music career and recently deals majorly with directing and producing songs for other musicians.

WAHU.

Wahu used to deal more with Kenyan hiphops and at times she would do reggae and was one of the most successful female musicians in the early 2000s.She recently gave birth to her fourth child with Nameless and she is still actively in musician even if it doesn’t rock like it did in the past.

JUAKALI.

Nicknamed from the hustle that he started with JUAKALI would rise to be one of the most sorted and followed Kenyan musicians who released songs such as Banjuka tu.He recently tried his luck in politics where he wanted to be a member of county assembly though it did play well for him.

JAGUAR.

The ‘life ni fupi’ hitmaker was a rockstar back in days with his songs such as kigeugeu taking the centre stage and would later on sell very well for him.Jaguar may have lost in the member of Parliament race in this year’s general elections but he was still nominated as an area member of Parliament for Starehe constituency.
