Details have emerged, of what was spotted written in placards, that were carried, by the youths, during the anti finance bill protests, that are currently ongoing in Nyeri County. The protests are allegedly aimed to push members of parliament to reject the finance bill 2024.According to reports, residents of Nyeri Town, were seen carrying placards written in Swahili language. The placards read as follows “KWANI HAMTAKI TUVAE PADS” Which loosely translates to “Don’t you want us to wear pads” This is after it was alleged that the finance bill 2024, is looking forward to hiking tax on pads.Thankyou for taking your time to read this article.
