Details of the late Gengetone artiste Edgar Waititu alias Stoopid Boy’s final phone call before his death on Thursday 27, August 2026, have sprouted, leaving his ardent supporters and other Kenyans emotional.
As per the publication, during his last hours the singer called called his friend whose name has not been disclosed before pleading with the friend to send him KSh 500.
In the call, the “G Bag na Jug” hit maker explained to his friend his plan for the Ksh 500 money he was pleading for. Specifically, he told the friend that he would give KSh 200 to Marvo, his producer and use the remaining balance of KSh 300 to buy supper for the family that night.
Before hanging up the call, Stoopid Boy also asked the friend to send the cash directly to Marvo’s phone number.
After disclosure of the heartbreaking news, many Kenyans across various social media platforms have described the call as a cry for help, with others saying it was saddening knowing it was among his last conversations.
Stoopid Boy who was born in Oyugis Homabay on on October 28, 2001, before he later moved to Kibera left behind two children after allegedly taking away his own life.
