The police constable was discovered unconscious at his assigned location within the premises and was quickly transported to the hospital.
Medical professionals at the Jocham Referral Hospital pronounced him dead upon arrival on the morning of February 25.
The cause of death remains unclear but colleagues of the officer disclosed that he had expressed experiencing abdominal pain prior to his collapse.
Officials who responded to the scene reported that he had sustained an injury to his chin as a result of the fall.
The body has been transferred to the mortuary while awaiting a postmortem examination, according to police reports.
His family has been notified of this tragic event and is anticipated to arrive in Mombasa for the scheduled postmortem.
