Angry youths who are currently demonstrating against the government at CBD Nairobi, have told president William Ruto that they do not want to hear anything to do with dialogue. They used that opportunity to tell the head of state, to watch on television what they are advocating for. They were heard telling him in Swahili language, ” Fungulia Tv uone chenye tunataka” to mean that, Ruto could get the message about what they want from him, through watching television where they are captured protesting.

While telling Ruto to do that, they were spotted carrying placards with words printed on them, urging president William Ruto to do something over report about murder of women that has been recently highlighted in the country. They are asking Ruto to take charge and act on issues which they are advocating for.

To them, dialogue is a waste of time, they need action. As they call upon on Ruto to watch on television and see what they are demanding for, it is their wish that, he will see and do according to their wishes and demands. Currently, thousands of youths have flooded in the city, demonstrating. Police Officers have been deployed, just to make sure there’s peace in the city and people’s property is out of danger.

Upon seeing it, a faction of netizens have reacted as it can be seen on their Facebook timeline, where a number of them are urging the Gen Zs to think of other proper ways of engaging with the government.
